The perfect addition to any electronics workbench

This hood is fantastic and perfect for an electronic workstation/soldering station. It works well and the adjustable neck is a nice addition to a regular fan. It's a bit big, but it also has a big filter, so there's a trade-off. All in all if you need a really good smoke vent for your ESD safety bank then this is a good choice.

Improved workplace safety

Fumes from soldering or similar activities should never be taken lightly. This fume extraction fan system makes a great safety addition to any workplace. Benefits: Effectively removes smoke Adjustable bracket Two layers of filter with HEPA filter Note when buying: Takes up a lot of space Makes some noise Overall, if you need to remove smoke from your workspace, this is a great choice .

The perfect solution for my laser engraver, the hose is self supporting. The noise level is okay.

Filter: two filter stages. The outside is made of a coarser stuff-like material, the inside is similar to a Hepa filter but has no markings. Construction: Primarily plastic, but most stress points are steel. The hose is self-supporting and articulated. The tip is made of soft rubber. Usage: The tubing extends from the base of the filter, allowing the filter itself to be placed over or beside the workpiece. The hose assembly (end cap, hose and pan) simply snaps onto the bottom of the unit…
