The quality seems good. Fixed what I needed to fix - the old one was frozen and cracked so it leaked under pressure. It took about 2 minutes to change in our RV. I would buy it again if needed.

really super cheap - won't work in the near future

too expensive for what it is, really super cheap - won't work in the near future. That being said, it was nice that it was made out of clear plastic so I could see how it worked, yes, a $15 brass check valve from Home Depot. Now I understand the concept of a vacuum switch, so here's what

Fits perfectly with our Airstream Bambi Sport

I wonder why we leaked water when using the black water tank flushing system. It was not possible to blow out the flushing system before the winter installation. It matched exactly what Airstream had installed. Made installation a breeze (once I found out it was above the water heater in the closet).

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unreliable

Don't skimp on fresh water systems

I bought another brand to replace my valve when it broke. You definitely get what you pay for. The cheaper model leaked worse than my defective valve. Valterra fitted perfectly and worked great the first time. Before tightening, I applied teflon tape to the threads. As a bonus, this valve is transparent and you can do a quick visual check to make sure everything is working properly.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Everything ok, but - Freshwater Systems

One of these is installed on the black tank flushing line in my mobile home. My old valve was leaking black gas from the tank into the bus living area so I decided to buy a new valve. Well this one seems to do the same under certain conditions and I have a very sensitive nose especially when any exhaust fans are running creating negative pressure in the bus. It also seems a bit pricey for plastic. I'll probably create my own solution for this valve and install a brass check valve, possibly with
