They are exactly as described. We actually received 52 and they were all intact and in perfect condition. They don't appear as shiny silver as in the photos, but when I hold them under bright light they look almost the same. I am so happy with them that I will order different sizes after I finish this review!

Approximately $0.12 each, priced correctly. But I had two problems: 1. The rolled ball doesn't stay in place and often falls off. I worry my clients don't like that aspect because I know it annoyed me making earrings with them. Sometimes my earring doesn't line up properly, so I use pliers to twist the loop at the bottom of the find. Two out of five Valyria broke when I tried this procedure.

I replaced all my crappy earwires with these after searching the internet for real metal. No point in replacing them if I have the same problem in the future! I don't have sensitive ears, but some of the metal hooks wear out, which irritates my skin over time. They appear sturdy and well made. I haven't had them that long so I can't yet say how long they will last, but I think I made the right choice by choosing them from dozens of other providers available.
