Tent Pegs I've Been Waiting For

After years of using rounded shepherd's hook pegs that a hammer can't hit with a good steady hit, these nails worked great and took up very little space. I love her.

Titanium stolen nail pens

I used to buy two pens at once. I think more titanium. I used them with my large Agnes tent. They then stole my entire backpack, including a collection of various titanium tent pegs. I love it. They came in a box and there are 6 of them in the box. I use them with Clark Hammock Ultralight. And I will be using them with my Nemo Single Cane Hanging Tent. Thank you for wearing these beauties on straps, Revane.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not the best

Ideal for camping out west

Here in the Mojave Desert, you can't count on soft ground to pitch a tent. After bending dozens of steel stakes I finally found them and happily spent the extra dough to be able to drive a stake and not worry about rocks in the ground. When I first used them I could tell that they went right through the rocks and my tent didn't sway anywhere in the wind. I still use Ground Hog stakes in very sandy ground or snow, but when the ground is hard and rocky nothing beats these titanium pegs.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Legacy model

Great sauce!

Like any outdoor enthusiast, I have a lot of ground stakes. Some for sand, others for dense dirt. Some forged steel. Other aluminum. These are the best ultra light steaks for medium to hard soils. They are clearly not suitable for soft soil or sand. I stick them (instead of forcing them) all the way into the ground, leaving only a loop above the surface. I upgraded my hinges with lime green Dyneema NEW ENGLAND ROPES - 2.8mm Spyderline, 1200lbs. It wasn't easy pulling that heavier line through…

Great product suitable for tent accessories

I don't know why they use the term wholesale. Six pack (6). Small but efficient. Lightweight yet durable. Well made and with short reflective straps. Very happy with my purchase. I'll order another set next week. A full dozen would be enough to stake out my tent and raincoat. Note. They fulfill a "dual function". I store them by weaving them through the molle straps on my backpack and the straps on my attachable molle pouches. additional external elements. Note. As always, I have compared the…

Indestructible for Tent Accessories

I bought these primarily for use in Bishop, California where the soil is mostly hard sand, rock and granite. I ended up bending all of the aluminum poles that came with my tent to attach the tent to this surface. The aluminum stakes rested on the granite rock and stayed put, and the stake was still halfway up. And you know not to pitch a tent, especially if you expect it to be even a little windy. At this point the aluminum rods start to bend as I keep hammering them. But with these titanium…

Be careful which seller you choose or you will only receive one (1) binding

BEWARE OF THE AMAZING DISCOUNT - according to the product description, this is really just one (1) shin! I was hoping for a big discount on six of these but was misled by other reviews. I only got a tie from a seller who had a discount price that was too good to be true. I can't fault the seller for this as described in the product description but it's not that much at this plug price. Stick with sellers that all price the same or go for the option where it actually lists as a 6 pack. fool me…

Pros
  • Easy Installation

  • There are other interesting options.
