Seemingly fixed code p0022 / rough idle

so far so good. Ease of installation. Place them in my lasso 04 f150 after getting code p0022 and a rough idle. Since then I have driven at least 150 km. And the highway, and the road, and a lot of traffic jams, and they still work.

DO NOT BUY - DO NOT UPDATE DESIGN - NO FIX - BUY OEM

This will not solve your problem as it is not an updated design. I ordered them, installed them and they're not going anywhere, and when I got my OEM Ford VCT this company won't send back their defective crappy product anymore. Complete scam DO NOT BUY. BUY OEM FORD TO ELIMINATE.

Does the job and requires no additional parts.

Works as advertised. Fixed my P0012 code on my F150. It also took the diesel sound out of my truck that I've been hearing since I bought it with 70,000 miles on it. He's now at 200,000. I wish I had known that replacing the solenoid could have fixed this a long time ago. I was skeptical because I did a lot of research and everyone said I should only use genuine Ford parts, but I'm satisfied.

Bad out of box high risk of engine damage

This is not a Ford part. The fastening screws cannot be lost, which greatly increases the risk of falling and requires the engine to be dismantled. Also one of the solenoids in my kit has a faulty coil out of the box. Too bad I didn't test my new parts before installing them. It will take me most of the day to replace it. Oh in case you're wondering how I know the coil is bad, it was throwing codes so I used a VOM on it and the coil reads 2.5mΞ©. It should be 4 ohms.

Possibly marriage. If not bad quality.

Just said a week ago. The ticking seems to be worse, more so now when standing still than before. Bring back the originals because they're easy to install and remove, and what you know, the sound will be reduced. Works well while driving and at high idle but ticks like a ticking time bomb when stopped. Can be defective. How do I get my money back, should I buy a new pair and then return the old ones? I'll be making my phase shifters, upgraded PSI oil pump and timing chains soon, but until then…
