I wanted a restraint for my pup for two reasons. The first was short term as she didn't know how to sit in a car and I was afraid she would hurt herself. The second, of course, was to protect them in the event of an accident. I looked at dog car seats that she would quickly outgrow and that were expensive. I bought this seat belt because it meets all of our needs and it is. Also, is it easy to use and inexpensive?

I needed an easy and safe way to secure my young Catahoula in the car. She's uncomfortable in the car because she's freaking out and fidgeting in the back seat. It was exactly what I needed. The seat belt works with my old Mercedes seat belt socket. It looks well made and durable. I like that it is adjustable to your height. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, so I can't comment on how well it works on her.

No reviews, this is a harness for dogs. I have a Pitbull and an Altima. The leash is long enough if you have a Mastiff or Great Dane and they can be harnessed and turned comfortably. If you have a small dog, the leash can be adjusted accordingly. I recommend putting your pet in a harness instead of putting them on a collar. The buckle closes like a normal seat belt. Robust construction.

My pet rides in the back seat of a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Nieson Titian P/U CrewCab. The entire back seat is hers. It slides easily into the seat belt latch, she can move around in the seat quite easily, never falls on the floor, just how I set it, it sticks to her seat belts, if we had an accident she would be in the seat, she wasn't going to fly back and forth, or God, if she didn't become a projectile flying out the window. I have a little bundle of muscles aka Ember that would love to rest on my lap while I drive. I keep this thing in the back seat and in the car when I'm driving. Even when we get to the park and she's bouncing like a bean, she can't get it out of the seatbelt slot. She is very strong for her size and that wasn't a problem.
