I figured the whole reason it was like a fishing pole was that I could sit where I was at and throw it and play with my cat. Because all the other ones that are available are stationary (attached) and are very short. She likes to get behind things, and underneath things and act like she's hunting when we play. So far so good. haven't had it too long so I can't say much about durability, but it seems sturdy enough. My cat absolutely loves it and goes nuts every time I get it out. Well worth it.

Worth the money for the rod. It’s pretty much just one of the wand toys though because you get a whole 2’ of cast on it.Easy to upgrade it on your own though. I put threaded fishing line on it to get more of a cast out of it and it’s waaaaay more fun now. Also can switch out lures with whatever you can attach to it easy enough as well.

This is the BEST cat toy ever! If you buy nothing else this should be it. I am so glad I stumbled on this. Because al of my cats love it, even the ones I couldn't get to play before. They have torn up a few attachments and as you can tell in the video we have lost the bell to this attachment as well. But its because they play with it so much!

not comfortable with the dragonfly clearly being made by hand out of cheap art materials pipe cleaners pom pom balls and hot glue. seems like they were made by child labor. the company should prove otherwise.

A fun toy for the cat and myself. He loves chasing the toy attached to it and actually expresses a preference for one of the three provided. He will go for a good 30 minutes chasing it as I fling it and there or pull it along the floor. Well worth the money.

I loved the pole and three toys that came with it. I got it on a Friday evening, and played 3 times with my cat. By Sunday, day 3, and the third time we played, the pole broke near where the 2nd retractable rode goes in. My cat was enjoying playing with it, and when I tried to pull back on the rod, and he wouldn't let the blue bird/fish thing go, it snapped.

The extendable pole, reel, and string are decent quality, but the toys are HEAVY. They're heavy enough that I worry about accidentally hitting my cat with it because it would hurt him, and he flinches away from it when it goes THUNK on the floor instead of wanting to pounce it. The only way that we can use this is for me to clip on toys from another wand that I got at Walmart.I do not recommend this item.

My cats LOVE this thing! It's like a real mini fishing pole. You can interact and play with your cats without having to move too much. I daresay it's better than a laser pointer!
