Natural Disinfectant

I like to use natural disinfectants to clean my house. There is a bit of a smell when you first use it, but that goes away pretty quickly and doesn't bother me.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Minor Issues

Safe and makes my bathroom shine

I'm trying to reduce the amount of chemicals I use around the house and cleaning products are the biggest problem. My friend recommended this cleaner and said she uses it instead of bleach. I ordered a large size as it is a good price. I'm really happy with the results so far. I have cleaned my countertops, bathtub, sink and even my toilet and I don't think they have ever sparkled before but they do sparkle now. I'm really impressed with it and not worried that it's safe.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Infuriating

Great value in all purpose cleaners

Vaxxen Labs Hypochlorous Acid (550ppm) - Professional Surface Cleaner - Home Office & Medical - 1 Gallon HOCL Cleaners work great and can be used topically on the skin in a 1:1 ratio be used diluted. I use it for this purpose as it kills bacteria on the skin fairly easily and is especially good for acne prone skin. With three teenage daughters who have acne problems, this adapts quickly. HOCL has a somewhat limited shelf life and it may not make sense to purchase very large quantities. Because…

🤗 Hypochlorous acid, cook now!

Hypochlorous acid. 💁‍♀️ Hypochlorous acid is the same substance that white blood cells produce to fight infection and is just as effective as bleach at killing germs without leaving a harmful residue behind wound care. I first discovered it as a wound spray for my cat here on Revain. It would be harmless if accidentally licked off or in the eyes (there are people too). kills baddies like viruses (yes, capital R), bacteria, and fungi, but doesn't damage healthy tissue. So I grabbed it. It's…

diluted with vinegar not listed as an ingredient

This product has been diluted with vinegar even though hypochlorous acid is listed as the only ingredient. the smell is clear. I like to use hypochlorous acid to disinfect surfaces in my office, but also in public places like airplanes or shopping carts. The distinct smell of vinegar is unpleasant to me and others, not to mention that I have no available research into disinfecting properties and how quickly a surface can be considered sanitized when hypochlorous acid is diluted with vinegar. I…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • too boring

Light, heat and air will destroy this solution, so keep in a cool, dark place with a tight lid. Also, have test strips handy to make sure your solution hasn't lost all of its working power. My strips don't show over 500 and show that this solution is much higher than in ppm and I've had it for 2 months and counting. So it's not decomposing as quickly as I thought it would. It has a faint smell of bleach, much milder than strong bleach, and I've always liked the smell of bleach. It's an acid, so

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

A limited alternative to bleach or vinegar. Other options below

My only complaint really is the price. But I have concerns about the restrictions. First the benefits: BENEFITS: - Much less odor than bleach, maybe 80% less bleach odor - No risk of soiling clothes - Safe for children and pets. In fact, some people use this as a topical treatment for first aid and skin conditions. Don't worry about accidental swallowing. I certainly wouldn't drink it on purpose, but in a cast accidentally swallowing something, no need to call an ambulance. - Does everything…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
