Nice but nothing for Italian bikes.

These Velo headphones are orange and incredibly beautiful, but they don't fit with Italian threads. Unfortunately, Velo says there isn't enough demand for Italian thread to make them.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Protection

Great Price: Stock

Solid. Used on a 1986 Casati Gold Line steel frame and fork. Fits perfectly and looks great. Laser engraving for labels classifies this. The sealed mechanism is well designed and works. Heavier than Campy or Miche, but much better made.

Pros
  • Free for Educational Purposes
Cons
  • Lots of Stuff

Very good. the best among ice skates, skateboards and scooters

Very nice workmanship. Can be pressed in easily. The bottom ring that presses on the fork is potted (cut along the radius) so it's easy to put on and take off. The bearings are marked 36 x 45 (these are corners) and 30.2 x 41 x 6.5. A quick internet search shows each one costs at least $10 to replace.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Useless functions

I'm a bit disappointed. The headset I received is labeled Grand Cru.

I'm a little disappointed. The headset I received is labeled Grand Cru instead of Velo Orange. It's the same headset as far as I know, but since I'm installing it on an orange bike, I wish it had a different name. Otherwise it looks like a perfectly maintained steering column with sealed bearings.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Something different

Pay attention to the stack height!

This item is of the highest quality. Incredibly smooth bearings and well sealed. Not to mention that it's beautiful. However, be very careful with the stack height. I bought this for a single speed conversion on a vintage Schwinn. I had to return it because the thread on the plug wasn't long enough for the headset. Too bad :/ Had to use something closer to 30mm instead of this set at 42mm.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Well done on skateboard parts

I was impressed with the quality of the parts on this headset compared to others I've paid triple or more for. It looks good and has sealed bearings. It installed as expected with no special press inserts for the bearing cups as is required on some of the more expensive brands. Единственная проблема, с которой я столкнулся, заключалась в том, что она была немного выше, чем рулевая колонка, которую я заменял (Miche на Bianchi 80-х годов), поэтому я не получил такого большого зацепления резьбы…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • nothing
