🚲 SHARD Bike Cover by Velo Sock - Unisex Outdoor Cycling Protection Review

Keeps my road bike dry and clean. The fabric has withstood the scorching Florida sun very well. I am in the process of buying a second one. I would have liked more design options in the full version.

The VeloSock zipper destroyed my bike frame while transporting it across the country on a car bike rack. Lightning flashing in the wind repeatedly struck the bike's frame, damaging the frame to the point where it was unusable and had to be replaced entirely. Buyer Warning.

Incredibly expensive, took over a month to ship. Once the cover is in place you should be able to carry the bike around as the wheels are locked inside the cover. I installed a tray style bike rack on my car and mounting the bike, locking it etc is time consuming and cumbersome. In fact, this cover takes so long to use that I only put it on my bike for long trips. A real waste of over $200

Bought 2 of these bikes for our gravel bikes. They are very helpful to keep the bike clean when riding on dusty roads. They were afraid of wind resistance, but it's not that scary. Works great with the platform hitch post and all access points allow me to use the post's cable locks. Putting it on takes a little practice but is very easy with a second person. Overpriced and doesn't fit my StumpJumper 29er. They also list it as Prime but delivery took 10 days. I ordered it on Friday, he said it would be delivered on Monday. Traveling in a Sprint van is important so I was very happy to find a product that could accommodate my four bikes in the back protects. Bring bikes inside. The fabric was stretchy and durable and I was initially very happy because it also worked well with my 1up rack. However, as the weeks went by, the zippers became increasingly difficult to slip through. As a result, the teeth did not mesh at all.
