Ventura Bicycle Chain 2 Inch 8 Inch Review

I was a bit skeptical about this necklace given the bargain price I paid. However, the chain meets and exceeds my needs and feels solid. I would buy this again.

I converted my 21 speed electric bike to single speed and this 1/8" chain was the icing on the cake. My bike now sounds like a sewing machine when I pedal kick and if not.Ideal!

Great chain half the price of my old chain. Mine came with the KMC brand. After installing this chain the noise from the old chain was gone and I rode much smoother, stopping better and pulling faster. I think I should explain that I ride with a fixed gear so the chain is critical for a break.

This bike chain was as described and fitted well on my daughter's bike. She rides it almost every day, which puts a smile on our faces! The only thing I would do differently in the future would be to buy a chain breaking tool if needed. It was a real challenge to do this without the right tool.

I was looking for a chain for some of my vintage single speed bikes (mostly from the 70's and 80's). You look great! The black outer links with what I would call dark gray inner links give it the perfect look. This is a darker finish as opposed to the glossy Izumi you see there. Shiny just doesn't look good on a classic bike to me. Finally, I was blown away by how smoothly the chain rolled over the cogs. Best value chains I've found!

This product shipped quickly (2 days before estimated delivery). It took me a while to figure out how to get the chain back through the sprockets, but after that it was very easy. Runs smooth and quiet. I had to remove a few links, but it was very easy with the chain tool. I give 4 stars because this chain is a bit wider than my old one but no problems so far. I bought this chain for an English 3 speed because I put a big cog in the back. I needed a network with 100+ links and this was my choice based on research and customer reviews. This is a really excellent offering with 112 links and one main link. The fit and finish is better than the original bike chain. Note that this chain is designed for single speed or internal hubs (3, 4, 5 speed) such as Sturmey Archer or Sachs hubs. This doesn't work properly on bikes with derailleurs because the main…
