The basket itself is fine. Seems durable. However, there are no fasteners to prevent the basket from rocking or bouncing while cycling. Instead, the basket hangs and rubs against the bike's front fender, damaging the paintwork. It slides all over the handlebars and bounces when you're on the move as there's nothing on the center bar to stabilize the basket. I have a beach boat. Do not buy. I'll see if I can find some sort of mounting hardware to make it work. :(

Unfortunately, most bicycle handlebars do not have enough space for this idea. I love the basket and it works on my Topeak C-pillar but the brakes and reflector lock it up on the handlebars. It's too wide to fit between the brakes and cables, and it needs to be snug on the handlebars for something like a reflector, headlight, or bell to get in the way of the setup. No hardware and it will NOT work with the diamond back mountain bike I ordered from Costco. If you have brake cables in front of your bike, this basket will not work. The 2 half loops that should be used for attachment don't bend easily.
