These discs look as good as I've ever seen, especially when they contain audio or MP3s. Unfortunately, even at the lowest recording speed, they just weren't compatible with the devices I needed to play in MP3 format with CDR. Eventually the disc would load and some songs would play, but it was never good or consistent. I tried several settings and it just didn't work. I finally settled on a CDRW brand with a minimum 4x write speed and it worked great on my CDR/CDRW drives.

Ideal for creating gift CDs. Discs look like 45 rpm records. I made holiday mixes using Rat Pack (and friends) Christmas carols, taped them to Vastar CD cases/kraft paper (available from Revain) and printed out the song titles. Wrapped in cards for the perfect gift. Great success with family and friends who have received. Added a nostalgic touch to nostalgic music. I recommend.

Well I bought these because they look damn good lol and I still listen to CDs in the car and at home on my fine Onkyo CD player regularly. I love their design (they look like little vinyl records). They are great for copying files or photos. I use them mainly to send digital copies of photos to my grandparents and that's A LOT! Can be used for music, photos, videos (not movies of course, but cellphone videos are fine), documents, etc. Handy for home computer backup or car/kids CDs because they are cheap and won't hurt your wallet if they get scratched or need to be replaced. I have no problems with them, they work great.

Verbatim is one of the best brands of blank CD and DVD discs. According to Revane, I seem to have used 8 of those 50 packs. I use them exclusively in my Wurlitzer 1015 "One More Time" jukebox because you can see the CDs and I love having the ones disguised as 45's. I've also used them in (probably) ten or twenty other CD players, including two 400 disc jukebox players. I suspect your problem is related to education.
