On time as presented

Recordable DVDs arrived on time and were as pictured. I have used this brand before and have always been satisfied. The seller delivered the goods to me as promised.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Some issues

Excellent Lightscribe DVDs

Recordable Lightscribe DVDs, you have to go to a third party to get the Lightscribe software these days as HP no longer supports it but these DVDs work great if You have this software. Data is written to it with no problem, and Lightscribe images turn out great.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Good but not great

Buy them while you can!

The light pattern label looks a bit washed out and not as sharp as on the CDs I burned. It could be the burner but I suspect it's the DVD itself. Records data easily and accurately so no complaints. Since they are no longer produced, the price will only go up.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Expandable

Inappropriate product quality

First, this is not a seller's problem, it's a Verbatim problem. The first two disks in the batch did not accept the Light Scribe image; however, the next two did. While I haven't tried the others, Verbatim seems to be a quality control issue. Mr. Kutntz's previous comment seems to address the same issue. Judging by other comments, you are paying money and taking risks. At $2.80 per disc I expected more.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

DVD+Rs are perfect

They are exactly what I expected. Put a lot of home videos on it for my family. The retailer should really think differently about their packaging as they were received in an envelope and all the boxes were crumpled. I was so glad they were still usable after their horrible handling.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Some discs have not been formatted.

I bought a set of 10 Verbatim LightScribe DVD burners from Revain. 3 out of 10 drives have NOT been formatted and are unusable. I was very disappointed to say the least. I have contacted Verbatim via email and have not received anything from them yet. I tried 3 different computers with 3 different drives with the same results and the message "Windows was unable to complete the format".

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Expensive
