Description of Versachem 12270 1200 Black Silicone

High strength, moisture curing RTV silicone; maintains long-term durability and flexibility. Forms a tough, flexible silicone rubber material; resists aging and weathering providing a leak proof seal. Use to bond, seal, insulate, repair, fill voids and more. Temperature Range: -100°F to 450°F (-73°C to 232°C). Suggested Applications: Glass, vinyl, wood, most metals, brick, and concrete; excellent for home, marine, and automotive applications.

Disappointing performance from car sealer

Based on my experience, this adhesive did not deliver the results I was expecting. While it was easy to apply it failed to create a strong and long-lasting bond as promised. The pros were its ease of application, but unfortunately, the cons outweighed this as the adhesive failed to work..

It's expensive, but I've found that over the long term it's the best on the market for what we use it for.

Really NO Black hose. Only silicone is used to seal the closed metal holes in our racing team. It's expensive, but I've found that over the long term it's the best on the market for what we use it for.
