Great addon for LG V20 but it does NOT fast charge it.

This is a nice addition for LG v20 or other phones that don't support wireless charging. Note, however, that this will not allow you to charge quickly and will generate some heat as well. I took some pictures with my case to show how it works with a small case. It also shows what it looks like when it's in the case and that I had to make some modifications to it to fit the case. (And yes I know I have a crack on the screen but luckily it's just a screen protector lol)

DON'T BEND!: Charging Stations

Mine worked fine the first time I used it through a case on my Pixel, but after I removed the case and put it back on, The Phone would charge slowly. After removing the inductive charging pad I heard a crackling noise and upon opening found that there was a very thin, brittle black sheet behind the coil - it is likely a ferrite sheet and damage to it reduces the effectiveness of inductive charging. I ordered a replacement charging receiver, installed it neatly without flexing behind the thin…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Weak cable, lasts for 5 months.

Update: 5 months later, broken cable. You never "fast" charge like you would from a wall outlet, it's not a wireless charging point. This is perfect for my use. OnePlus 6t does not support wireless charging. I've invested heavily in desk stands (for work and home) and car mounts. All of them use wireless charging. My phone sits in one of them and is constantly charging. For work/home this means my phone is always at 100% when I pick up the phone. For car docks, this means that when I'm using…

I can't believe I didn't find this wireless charger sooner!

Can't believe I didn't find this wireless charger sooner! I am using the Nillkin Type-C wireless charging receiver (short version) with my Nexus 6P. After switching from Nexus 5 to Nexus 6, I miss wireless charging on Nexus 6P. When I'm sitting at my desk or going to bed, I love the convenience of plugging my phone into a wireless charger. The charging receiver fits between the phone and the slim body, and the Type-C connector has a 90-degree angle where it connects to the phone. The bump in…

Pros
  • Same as all others so far
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Very, very cheap design.

It literally took me half an hour to install this thing on my phone and position it perfectly. I was very careful with it, but it has already fallen apart (aluminum parts on the port). I couldn't even try it on the wireless charging pad. Update: This article returns to Revain. I just tried it on my Qi charger. It gave negative current to the accumulator battery. Really drained the battery. My phone charges just fine via a regular USB cable and this Qi charger works well with my old Nexus 5 and…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • May damage

Does what it's supposed to and does it well. My phone (Sony) doesn't have built-in Qi charging like older iPhones. This connects and allows me to use the Qi "pad" I already had for charging. It's nice that they offer connections for all types of phones. This one I bought is for the USB-C connection and the device charges my phone's battery. Although it is very thin and the adhesive will hold it securely, you should pay attention to how they protect the phone with some kind of case. This is…

Works as advertised, added wireless charging to my Pixel XL

I was very skeptical given the price. I had wireless charging on my Nexus 6 and added it to my Samsung S4 but it's not on my Pixel XL and I missed it. This solution adds that feature that I'm happy to bring back. It charges my Pixel XL at a quoted rate of around 700-900mA in amps. Given that Amps reads about -200mA when the screen is on and not charging, I think the 1000mA rating is mostly accurate for this thing. It doesn't charge as fast as a 2.4A wired charger, but it charges fast enough…

Nillkin is top, many connection types, "long version " type C tested here

Nillkin offers many QI addition options. Mine because my LG V20 works well with the "long version" type C. The V20 is a long phone and a small addition to the connection cable puts the coil in the sweet spot to match my 4 different QI chargers. I'm getting almost 900mA (nearly amps) per battery. This allows me to use email and GPS at the same time (for Wayz routes) - and the battery level stays at 100 percent! I flip the batteries monthly and try to unstick the Nillkin from the tape before…

It works but a few things keep it from 5 stars.

I ordered this for my BlackBerry KEYone because I'm used to wireless charging from my previous phone, the BlackBerry Classic. I can confirm it works and the short version definitely fits this phone, it ONLY barely gets to the logo, didn't want it to cover it. With the Itian Qi wireless charging stand, it's similar to the Tylt but costs about 1/3 of that. I had to stack 2 tiers of these felt pads I bought at a hardware store so the phone sits high enough on the Itian charger to charge reliably…
