🔵 Vibra-TITE - 12535 Medium Strength Gel Anaerobic Threadlocker, 35 ml Pump, Blue (Removable) Review

I ran out of blue Loctite to secure the muzzle brake I put on my M14. The main problem with using Loctite is that it's so runny it doesn't stay where you need it. I saw this gel and decided to try it. I have to say it has worked flawlessly so far. I routed my brake correctly and put it on the threads. This cannot be removed manually and I have fired over 100 shots with the pistol and it has not moved. So also good heat resistance.

For a guy who says it doesn't work, you obviously don't know what you're doing! First off it's not designed to hold bolts where you can't remove them, it's a medium strength locker that keeps nuts and bolts from vibrating or loosening! This is awesome stuff I used to restore an 08"yz250 and I don't want to worry about it running and making a huge mess. The pump bottle works great and doesn't clog after sitting.

I have used blue gel to build all of my gun models and any parts that require thread locking. The gel stays where you apply it and doesn't leave a mess that washes off like liquids. I had no problem loosening the bolts from my gun after hundreds of shots. When it comes time to loosen the screw, you'll have to use a little force and it will come out. I would recommend this gel for any screws that need to be secured. Purple gel also works well.

The pump stops working once you use more than 2/3 of the bottle. I cut open mine to get at the big puddle of threadlocker on the bottom. It would be more effective if it was in the shape of a toothpaste bottle. However, the product works as advertised. Removable if you don't cover the threads with this material. For metal threads, just dab and with the appropriate torque, that's more than enough to hold that bolt/nut/bolt. Good product but I will look for a different packaging next time.

I used this on my bike, I replaced the Loctite Stick lipstick with this one. A few things I like more, of course you get a lot more because Loctite is ridiculously expensive, the gel consistency and pump container make it much easier to apply than a stick and the stick dries to form a hard crust. which you have to remove before you can use it, so you end up using the entire wand in just a few uses. It's literally better in every way, I can't comment on its strength because it's blue not red…

Seriously, this stuff is that good. I literally threw away a bunch of used, semi-used, hardly used threadlock tubes and pins that I had laying around after using this product. I don't think it works any better than intended, but it's very easy to use, no mess and minimal waste with the pump gel. I just wouldn't bother anyone anymore. I used it on an RC car, mainly on motor mounting bolts and lug nuts. The wheels bothered me the most because they still sometimes fell off in the middle of a tempo
