Slight change in pitch, overall good quality product

I asked my local muffler shop to weld it to my secondary exhaust system (it was too loud for my liking). It helped a little, although it didn't feel like a full transformation. The field deepened a little and the volume in the car got a little better, but don't expect miracles.

Made my car louder but Def sounds better πŸ‘

Great resonator but if you want to work quieter this isn't for you. I have a 3" single output on my G37 and bought it hoping to muffle the sound a bit and it actually sounds like it's louder. On the other hand, it definitely gave the car a deeper and more masculine tone, so I'm happy with that for now. The 1st photo shows the profile welded to my 3" pipe. The 2nd photo shows a small skid plate that I bent and added because my car is bottom and that resonator hangs a bit low for my comfort. God…

A good resonator that does little?

So I added this to the aftermarket exhaust system I have for my 2017 WRX. It's well built and has a pass-through design that should have minimal impact on performance and flow. My first disc left the muffler shop, I didn't notice anything, it was still loud (IMO). After a few days, some aspects of the exhaust noise began to change, firstly the deceleration noise became quieter. Now the tone is lower but still buzzing, I'm hoping there may be a break in time and it will get better but as it…
