02 Jetta 1.8 AWP 20 valve (turbo)

Original Victor Reinz parts. Fair price, perfect fit. They must be replaced with a valve cover gasket kit. If you see oil dripping from your gearbox bell housing, that's probably the culprit.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Fixed my leak and installed as expected.

Good quality. Fixed my leak. No complaints. My only concern is that it will be a pressed composite or something, not laminated steel like the factory used to be, but that might be a good thing considering how often factory regulator seals leak.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are new competitors

What can I say, it's a shim, but in .

What can I say it's a gasket but in a review I read earlier where one of the guys thought the crescent gasket was too big and shaved it off I suggest you do it not that This thing is designed to compress when you put the knot back together, so don't cut the crescent seal!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • thin

High quality! fits engine parts

This is a rubber molded metal gasket. The crescent appears to be made of high quality silicone. I applied a thin coat of RTV sealant to the entire gasket on both sides. It might have worked fine without them, but it takes a lot of work to install these parts, so I wouldn't want to risk it. Consider purchasing camshaft seals when replacing. I didn't do this and used RTV when assembling. You won't have too much trouble with them leaking, but it most likely isn't an expensive part and can be…

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • No paint required
