It's a bread knife!

Excellent bread knife: thin, sharp and flexible with fine, flat shells. Most bread knives sold today have deep, pointed teeth that cut bread with a softer interior and spread crumbs all over the place. One wonders if the people who design things have ever tried them in real life.

The perfect bread knife

The blade has a light serrated edge and a slight curve. It slices bread easily and evenly without tearing it. Even bread with a delicate crust cuts easily and cleanly, and the blade is long enough to easily cut through large sourdough bases.

Cuts perfectly with no effort

The last time I made this bread I was breathless with the effort of slicing it. Not with THIS NEW KNIFE. That's great. Thin, clean slices. Little effort, just cutting. I'm in love. And my rye bread has never been prettier and smoother. Old knives in the bin and I'm happy, happy, happy (as well as my hand and wrist!

I love this knife! suitable for kitchen and dining room

I bake bread in a bread machine and then break it when I cut it. NO LONGER! This knife is fantastic. It feels good in the hand, a fairly heavy blade that doesn't bend when slicing, and the cutting design slices bread quickly without crushing it. I've had a small Victorinox paring knife with a similar serrated edge for a few years and I love it for tomatoes and the like. I don't know why it took me so long to decide to buy their bread knife.

This knife is unbeatable.

I gave it as a gift and it was well received. Its blade is longer than average, ideal for slicing loaves of country bread, and you can't beat the Victorinox for sharpness. In fact, this brings up my only issue with my purchase. The knife was packed in a soft envelope with bubble wrap. When the package was delivered the knife had cut through the sleeve, bubble wrap and outer envelope. I would recommend stronger packaging.

My favorite utility knife.

My favorite serrated knife! I'm a professional pastry chef and this is a great tool for many tasks. The blade is thin enough for gluing cakes, but the shape of the teeth does not allow tearing delicate pieces of biscuit. I love it for slicing crusty bread. It is also an excellent knife for cutting meat. I like the slight angle of the blade and the handle is comfortable to hold even for long periods of time. This knife takes a really long time to dull. I think I've only bought 3 in my life so…
