Unfair rating in Computers and Accessories section

So I contend that this rating is unfair for a number of reasons, but let's get started. $50 for it and an additional $50 for the Pi fee, this thing is way more than it should be and the keyboard and touchpad combo is super cheap and requires batteries and a 2.4GHz USB dongle. In summary: don't buy this, just buy a Pi 400.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Neat Pi. Case: Computer components

This case reminds me of the days when your whole machine could fit in your keyboard (C64, Sinclair, etc.). I like the idea, it needs some improvements. I would like to see a pi hat connection between the keyboard and the pi. The batteries for the keyboard should be easily accessible, the keyboard power button should be connected to the Pi by itself, it would be nice to have the switch for the Pi on/off. I love that the keyboard case gives you extra space for other expansions and items. Needless

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No instructions

Bad effort for a good idea

Came in original packaging without packaging. The box was slightly opened and not sealed with tape. UPS didn't bother with bad packaging. I was looking to install my raspberry pi 4 and found that the battery cover for this case was missing, also a screw wasn't long enough to fit and the raspberry pi case didn't fit. It's really weird that they put the keyboard power button under the cover instead of on the outside so you can just connect to the internet and turn it off. The overall concept of…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Well built, fits models 2, 3 and 4 but requires a key

This is a really well built case. It fits nicely on my shelf next to my Commodores which is exactly what I wanted. The keyboard is well made and is very comfortable to type on. The touchpad is also of good quality, but not as good as high-end laptops (but it was never cheap back then). There's also plenty of room if you want to connect a ribbon cable to a breadboard or even install an SSD or similar. It also ensures that all your ports are available. It's hard to say, but seems like there's…

Almost like the Raspberry Pi keyboard case I wanted.

Installing the Raspberry Pi board was simple and straightforward. Turning on the fan didn't help. There is no mount point for it. The instructions say you plug it into the case, so I'm not sure if it's not spinning because it's being pushed too hard or because it's not connected to the correct pins. The case design itself isn't bad, but the case is clearly built around a product that already exists - a wireless keyboard. Inside the case is the entire underside of a standalone wireless keyboard.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not a bad start, but not good enough

This keyboard case looks well made and keeps the Ras Pi safe. Unlike some other reviewers, I found the instructions for the fan to be pretty clear and it stays in place for me. The design is reminiscent of the Commodore 64, which is pretty funny. That is a good thing. This is not good. The keyboard is battery operated and you will need a screwdriver to open the bottom and change the batteries. Since it's battery operated, it has an on/off switch that's also hidden under a hard-to-remove plastic

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Durable

Not for most people

I'll start by talking about a good way I can think of to do this. If you have a raspberry pi 4 as a server for something in your house (maybe a home media server, or if you are a software developer and want to run a mySQL database locally on the raspberry pi) and you normally connect via SSH to Your pi , but from time to time you may need direct access without installing peripherals. That's about the only good use I can think of for it. If you think so, then it's not a bad buy, although I'd…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Useless features

Poor design quality and buggy keyboard

1. The keyboard itself is buggy. If you type too fast, random keys will be inserted. If you're reading this on a desktop computer, open Notepad, press and hold the T key, then press and hold the E key while holding the T and E keys, and then start pressing the R key while holding down the T and E keys. What does it do every time you press and release the R key? On my nicer keyboards, the R key is pressed and nothing else, ignoring the T and E you hold down. On my lower quality keyboards, it…
