Great budget switch.

Just tested this adapter on my Canon M50. Out of the box, it looks and feels great, and it's lightweight, which speaks for decent quality. So far it's working great! Tested with Canon EF and Yongnuo 50mm lenses, focus is sharp and autofocus is flawless as far as I can tell. So far a great purchase at a great price. I will update in a few months.

Can't believe the price

This item works well for a great price. Arrived well packaged. Connected and adjusted the lenses and works perfectly. AF is fast. The only thing that bothers me is that the lens for the adapter dangles a bit. The lens rotates slightly when fixed. It's insignificant when you consider $39 versus $160. If I were to use it professionally I could shake things up, but for the amateur who photographs a wedding or 2 weddings a year it's more than enough. I saved a lot of money by fitting EF-S lenses to

Won't snap anymore

When I first got this adapter I was happy with how easy it was to use and how it worked with all my lenses including Canon and Tamron. Then all of a sudden it started to slip and loosen. I adjusted the frame and it slipped and the connection between the lens and the camera was lost. Apparently, this is a manufacturing defect that only becomes apparent after repeated use. Very frustrating and very disappointing after such a good start. I've spoken to other photographers who have described the…

Perfect for Canon M6 M ii

It has never failed with my EF lenses. Another review mentioned that it needs to be attached to the lens first. Then the camera body. I used a Canon 50mm EF lens and a 70-300mm EF lens on my Eos M6 M ii body. The only thing that bothers me is the slight grinding noise it makes when attaching it to the case. These are the gold pins in contact with the body mount. I hope it lasts, but it's a fifth of the Canon version. If it doesn't work I'll buy another one. Pretty light weight. I've even used…

It's just like Cannon's, only cheaper.

This is a non-magnification adapter that allows you to use EF and EFS lenses with a Canon M-mount camera, in my case the M50. The quality is not worse than Canon, but cheaper. However, it has no lenses. If you need lenses, you need the accelerated version of this product. The problem, however, is that you can't use any of your EFS lenses if you get a speed booster. However, you can use all your EF and EFS lenses with this product, and autofocus and lens stabilization work just like Canon. I…

Fits M50 Mark 2 and great for the budget

I was interested in many other brands selling this adapter but decided to give it up and it didn't disappoint. I rocked it with my Canon M50 Mark 2 and a Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 lens and it was fun. So all in all a great adapter. I think this adapter is great for those who recently bought a mirrorless camera like the EOS R and still have EF-S/EF lenses they want to use, especially at the price of RF lenses. Not to mention, if you're just getting into photography or videography and don't want to…

Save your money and use Canon

I bought this adapter for my new M50 hoping to use some of my lenses from my Canon SL1. The adapter works great and the autofocus was just great. BUT when photographing against the sun and other light sources, a reflection was thrown off the inside of the adapter creating haze as you can see in the photos I've attached. Because I just bought a camera - used - I thought something was wrong with the actual camera. Luckily I was finally able to figure this out and found that it was the material…

Works exactly as advertised.

Bought for my Canon M50, works exactly as advertised. The autofocus is fast and sharp. Vignetting is present but not critical. I did notice a small bubble or smudge on the back of the booster lens, but as far as I could tell it didn't affect the photos. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. The best part is the extra aperture you get from your lenses. It turns an F/4 lens into a 2.8/F lens while almost completely eliminating the crop factor. Image quality is a bit softer with the…

Works great on my M6 for little money

I own an EOS-M6 and use it mainly as a pocket camera with pancake or 15-45 zoom. Several times a year you need a telephoto camera and I didn't want to buy a native EF-M telephoto zoom for such a rare use. I already have a Canon EF and EF-s glass (I have several DSLRs) so this Viltrox EF-EOS M mount adapter proved to be the most affordable way to mount a telephoto lens on my M6. In fact, Viltrox works great with my EF-s 55-250 STM, 70-200 4L and 300 4L USM. Autofocus appears to be as fast and…
