Clear lens value, but.

This lens is very sharp and clear. I really like the quality for this price. The only problem is that it is not suitable for taking quick photos in a row. When I try to take 3 shots quickly, the lens freezes and it takes about a minute to fix. I just don't recommend it for small children if you need to take a lot of photos at once quickly.

Great lens for Sony E-mount cameras!

This lens has very, very good sharpness at f1.4 and excellent/outstanding sharpness at f1.8 and beyond. The all-metal construction makes a well-made impression. This lens is compact. Autofocus works on Sony E-mount cameras. The lens is designed for a camera with an APS-C sensor and is the perfect size for a travel lens. However, it fits and works correctly on my Sony full frame camera. Lens sharpness seems to be better on my full frame camera. Note that when using this lens on a full-frame…

Auto focus sometimes fails - hard to trust

This lens seemed to have it all - good build quality, aperture, great price and very few alternatives with the same focal length that cost more than 3 times the price (e.g. Sony Zeiss 24mm f/1.8) or mediocre (Rokinon 24mm f/2.8). I don't even mind the slight incompatibility with the a6000 - worth mentioning as none of the Revain reviews mention it: to switch between manual aperture priority (using the aperture ring) and auto mode, the camera must be powered off. , rotate the auto mode ring to…

Good value for money!

I waited a week before writing this review and tested it under different circumstances. I shot many shots: landscape, architecture, maternity and portrait to test this lens as best as possible. I found it really great value for money. Here's a list of the pros and cons: Pros - Fast autofocus, sharp images, great focal length for street photography (take it with you), light weight despite being metal, great solid construction! I took some night shots and the result was surprisingly good. All in…
