The product is very close to the original. I tried removing the back glass pieces from the phone prior to installation but the results weren't very good. I used a small heat gun to loosen the glue and I can tell you it was a disaster. Portions are not removed as easily as you might think of a YouTube video. Definitely a great product. Looks just like the original. It comes with all the necessary tools. However, removing a cracked screen on an iPhone has proven to be one of the most difficult repairs.
