Big bed vs middle bed

I have two 40# bull terriers. Had previously ordered a large bed. The large bed has high sides where the dog can snuggle up. The middle bed is not suitable. Both dogs LOVE the big bed. Only one of the dogs sleeps on a medium sized bed. The sides of a medium-sized bed aren't high enough, and while the fluffy material on the bottom is great for padding, it's almost as high as the sides. I washed both beds several times. The middle bed fits perfectly in the washing machine. A large bed fits inโ€ฆ

Good fit and removable covers

The 40 inch bed is a bit big for my 85 lb Weimaraner and too small for my 160 lb Great Dane lol. I get the 52 inch bed on Monday and I'm sure my Dane will be happy with it. We also have a German Shorthaired Pointer and a Golden Retriever that fit perfectly in a 40 inch bed. These new removable covers are a great idea, it was impossible to wash a 40" bed and it was very difficult to wash a 40" bed in the car. I don't like the position of the zips, they could be hidden much better, I expect dogsโ€ฆ

Puppy likes it best in bed

Update: Our big dog won. the bed rotted in June. He still likes it, but the second one offers just as much weight support as the other one, so it's flat now. We bought a new one with memory foam and hope it lasts longer. This is our second bed for our 85 lb puppy. He outgrew the last one we bought him in over 18 months (he only weighed about 50 pounds when we bought him the first). He loved the old one and he loves this one and he immediately dove into the bed and sniffed it excitedly! Theโ€ฆ

Wonder! good for beds and furniture

I love this bed and it's only been here a few hours. My girl is very spoiled and loves the sofas and beds we sleep/sit on. I used to have one of those disgustingly big, flat, thick, hard dog beds because she and her brother slept on it together. It was literally the only time she used the bed. When he was in there with her. She had hardly slept in him since he died. She preferred to lie on the floor and then when she became too stiff/uncomfortable she would move to her bed or to me. I put it on

Doesn't last forever. Less than a year old

I liked this bed at first but it's not even a year old and the filling is flat. We got the largest size for our 60 lb lab because he likes to fully stretch. I'm deducting a star because the internal flash is visible and bothers me. This donut lip won't stay indented. It's easy to wash, but no fun putting extra long snake stuffing back into the rims! My dog doesn't destroy his beds by burrowing, so I figured the stuffing wouldn't go bad anytime soon! I wish there was more padding in the middleโ€ฆ

Overall a good buy! in beds

UPDATE: My child, having lived in luxury on sofas and human beds since he was a puppy, LOVES this bed. Yes I put it on my bed to help her get used to it but now I find she sleeps on it even if I leave it on the tiles. It's a bit sad really, I miss her stealing my pillows but she prefers her own space, I guess I'm dealing with a teenager right now. torso) and she weighs 58 pounds. I was torn between a 40" and a 52" but decided on a 40" as it likes to hug the curves and also because I wasn't sure
