🏍️ High-Performance Replacement Handlebar Switch - Compatible with All Winches for VIPER ATV / UTV Models Review

A well made switch that definitely works as intended. The switch came in a sealed plastic bag, but there were no instructions in my envelope. Not that big of a deal, but for those less electrically interested it can be a problem.

Used to replace a broken switch on a Warn winch. It took a bit of fiddling to get it working as the screws on one didn't fit the other. I wanted to use the warning mount but the new rear derailleur. A few adjustments got it working. If I remember correctly, the wires are a different color as well, but that was easy to figure out. Has worked great since installation.

I used this switch to replace the switch I used to control the winch snow blower on my ATV. The original "waterproof" switch died from water leaks. This switch seems to perform much better and is used more, but I can't comment on its rain and snow resistance for a month or two. However, after careful inspection, it turned out that it was much better finished and the design allows much less moisture to escape. If it does indeed leak I will revise this review down. Otherwise. 5 stars for now.

Delivered quickly. The switch works fine. I don't like the mounting system but will try to get some screws so I can mount it to my existing mount. The wires were long enough and my contactor was at the back of the quad. The outer cover is precut with the hot wire exposed and ready to be connected to the ignition power supply. I think the up/down wire connections are reversed, but the previous owner may have connected the power wires to the winch motor incorrectly.

Bought two of these, one for myself and one for my brother-in-law. Mine worked great with a Harbor Freight ATV winch. I just had to replace the ends of the black and green wires with a spade socket. His winch had a problem with the relay, but the switch is fine. So I assume it will work if we install his new relay. Some instructions on installing the handlebar mount might be useful. The schematics were good. My old remote was the yellow and black pendant type. Rubber seals on the buttons rotted

I have a small winch (Harbor Freight) that only has a wireless remote control. Its response was too slow for my intended use (lifting a snow blower). This switch was perfect. It appears to be of good quality and connects easily to the contactor that my winch uses to control the direction of the winch. My Polaris General Deluxe came with a factory winch but the switch was mounted on a panel in the cab. Because of this, it was impossible to see the winch when I was driving it alone. It was easy to hook up this ATV derailleur and then fold it under the hood and secure with velcro when not in use.
