Okay, Vittoria, we need to talk.

I'm not sure what happened between versions 1.0 and 2.0 of this tire but my experience with the latter was terrible. While I got maybe two apartments a year with the previous version of Corsa, the new 2.0 now forces me to do it at least once a month. I've ridden the same roads in similar conditions, but the 2.0 not only stings like crazy, it cuts a lot more, with some of it going right through the tread. The wear seems to have deteriorated overall and the driving experience is also noticeably…

Pros
  • Better than ever with 4C Graphene Compound Technology! These sport bike tires feature a 4-tread compound (4C) to increase durability, reduce drag and improve lateral grip for higher speeds.
Cons
  • Not sure

Update, dangerously weak sidewall

Easy to mount on rims (requires only 1 tire lever and minimal swearing) but difficult to inflate with a traditional floor pump. The sealant on the rim edge definitely leaked a bit and it took some shooting to seal everything. Few tubeless tires were installed at this point, but they were easier to rim than the Pirelli Velo 4S and much lighter than the GP5000TL. , but inflation was much more difficult than both. 4 stars for that - better if you need to change a tire on a trip, but a bit messy at

Pros
  • Flexible yet strong Corespun-K 320 TPI reinforced body; The premium cotton carcass hugs the road surface closely for a smoother ride, easier rolling and better traction - the ultimate tire for racing bikes.
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great tire - worth every penny

I have been a Vittoria Open Corsa customer for over 10 years having tried many brands averaging about 5,000 miles per year and found the handling to be particularly excellent. They wore out quicker, but not much more than other tires. It hasn't prompted that many new tire changes. I was forced to try the new 2.0 model when they came out. I don't like change. But I have to say they are smoother and last longer. For people wondering why anyone should spend so much on a tire - I'm telling you…

Pros
  • The new Corsa combines unrivaled performance: speed, flexibility, durability and reliability. Whether it's a Grand Tour win or a local race, the Corsa family of road tires offer world-class performance.
Cons
  • No.

An aluminum bike frame is so stiff that it can affect tire grip on hard, smooth surfaces like concrete. After buying a new Al. Bike (with carbon fork) I crashed 3 times, investigated the problem and found that the combination of a stiff frame, hard tires and bad tires (that came with the bike) not only created a heavy ride but also a vibration, which was transferred to the street. bad traction. Al. Frame stiffness improves riding performance (which is good), but of course poor traction can be…
