Review on Competition-Ready Foldable Bicycle Tire: Vittoria Corsa Graphene 2.0 - Race Road Bike Tires by Douglas Hall

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Update, dangerously weak sidewall

Easy to mount on rims (requires only 1 tire lever and minimal swearing) but difficult to inflate with a traditional floor pump. The sealant on the rim edge definitely leaked a bit and it took some shooting to seal everything. Few tubeless tires were installed at this point, but they were easier to rim than the Pirelli Velo 4S and much lighter than the GP5000TL. , but inflation was much more difficult than both. 4 stars for that - better if you need to change a tire on a trip, but a bit messy at first. Update: The Kevlar bead fell out of the rubber during a turn. The tire miraculously held the air and not only exploded but fried and left me stranded. The GP5k tire bead has a much better design.

Pros
  • Flexible yet strong Corespun-K 320 TPI reinforced body; The premium cotton carcass hugs the road surface closely for a smoother ride, easier rolling and better traction - the ultimate tire for racing bikes.
Cons
  • Only available in black
