The only tube I'll be best using in tubes

Smooth and FAST To be honest I also upgraded to a Conti GP 5000 at the same time. Aside from the aero bars, this was the best improvement overall. speed

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Hard to say

Lightweight and durable for test tubes

Newly switched to latex, am very surprised. Approaching 600 miles without flats! Weren't they advertised as thinner than butyl? I removed small pieces of glass and spikes that seemed to have passed through the hoop body. While riding on a virgin installation. Very happy.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Supple and responsive

These hoses are expensive but offer a great ride. I paired them with Conti GP5000 tires. They roll beautifully, are extremely responsive and offer a compliant ride. They seem to respond much quicker than when I use the standard tube and roll at speed with less effort. I had no problems installing them.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • High price

Probably the best latex tube

Probably the best latex tube available. Given that latex tubing requires little TLC and is more prone to punctures or bruises, they appear to be of very good quality. When I rode them on my single bike (haven't tried them on a tandem yet) with 28mm Continental 5000s, there was a noticeable improvement in rolling resistance and smoothness. I especially like the smooth sides of the Presta valves, which make it easier to insert into the pump valve.

Pros
  • Sample for a year
Cons
  • Fairly good

Skip - they all leak - the $5 tube is better than this.

Good - very good driving experience. The bad news is that they fill up unevenly, it takes a lot of work to get the bumps out of the tire - so these parts aren't great for takeaways. They don't hold air well - I bought 4 and they all let about 10psi/travel through the valve. A person will lose all air in one night. Unfortunately I'm now stuck with them since I installed them - and realized they were bad, Revain's return period had already expired.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Legacy

Fast and smooth for sport

These latex tubes offer a faster and smoother ride than traditional butyl tubes. The difference is small, so casual drivers don't notice or notice it. Latex gradually flows down without holding air as long as butyl. But my 110psi tires lose about 5psi overnight so they hold air pretty well. I check my tire pressure before every ride. Also, these tires came with removable valve stems, which is nice. And where the valve stem meets the tube, it's reinforced for durability.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Some little things

My new secret weapon!

After 40 years of riding I finally decided to try latex tubes. Why have I waited so long? In the first two blocks I noticed how much better they drove; it was like letting ten pounds of air out of my tires. It's not exactly new pavement, but the roughness of the old asphalt is much softer now. But the coolest thing about driving is how much faster the wheels roll. It's not kilometers per hour faster, but noticeable and measurable. I'm getting PR again on segments I gave up a long time ago. Wow!

Lightweight, great driving characteristics!

Why didn't I start this sooner? After buying a new bike, I rode it with original tubes and tires for a while. I then got a puncture and replaced one tube with a Vittoria latex tube. I felt an immediate improvement in ride quality. Then I ordered two more and mounted them on both bikes. Well! The ride seems smoother, I've reduced the weight a bit, improved traction and definitely feel more confident riding on rough tarmac. There are no apartments for 2 months yet. I shouldn't say it, but I've been riding these tubes around Manhattan for about two years and I haven't sunk yet. knock on wood. Я все о сопротивлении качению, поэтому я использую гибкие шины, а не Gatorskins, сначала gp 4000, теперь я использую 5000. Абсолютно бессмысленная настройка, потому что я не участвую в гонках, но я хочу ехать быстро, и мне нравится сидеть на первом месте the whole time. in these Strava segments!
