Upgrade from wired version Vive Original

Complete set Looking at VP, WA and WAAK together, that's my 5 stars. I have a wired Vive and recently decided to do a full upgrade. I was very happy about this update. The new VP headset is very comfortable, the resolution has noticeably increased. And being disconnected is absolutely wonderful. I'm so used to the wired Vive getting tangled in the cord. A slight smile appeared on my face every time I felt I could spin freely. Lot of freedom! The whole setup works great in Skyrim SE, Google…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Nickel-plated and tinted in computers and accessories

Works perfectly, does what it's supposed to, but it's really just a cable, a piece of plastic, and some foam. That last little extra after spending over a thousand dollars on a professional wireless adapter is a slap in the face. Especially if you don't read the fine print other than "works with vive pro" on a wireless network and have to wait an extra week for that adapter.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Promotional photos are somewhat misleading

There are more components involved than shown in promotional images. The image does not include the Vive Pro mounting kit. Make sure your computer has an open PCI slot (no luck if you want to run this on a laptop). I'm not sure how to mount the transmitter as there are no instructions in the box - just safety and warranty information). I have time to search online for instructions as Best Buy has been waiting for the wifi adapter to ship to let me know that the Vive Pro mounting kit was ordered

  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons

Another add-on board on top of the already high-quality HMD

The fact that it's not just included in the wireless bundle and sold separately for $60 offends those of us who decided and bought the Vive Pro HMD. But that's what it is. You pay for the required cable, a clip-on adapter that screws into the adapter that comes with the wireless kit, and a pillow. It's not much for the price and it doesn't even say Monster. However, he does what he has to do. Be sure to remove the face cushion to install the cable and gently pry the plastic piece on the side…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Negative impression

Do you know what you're getting? Then you will like it.

Wireless has taken my virtual reality to a new level of enjoyment. I used to find it funny despite the unsightly cable always getting in the way and getting tangled up, but wireless has taken it to the next level. Pocket, and yes, you need to install a PCIe card and follow the instructions to make simple modifications to the headset, and *yes* you need to buy an accessory kit to attach it. If you know what it's all about, you won't be surprised by the setup, but you will be surprised by how…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Expensive
