These keys work fine but the lock/unlock buttons are mediocre. I have to press the buttons multiple times for them to work. Otherwise they were a cheap alternative.

They looked perfect but were very difficult to set up and sometimes it takes a few clicks to unlock the car hence only three stars. Quality and optics are good, but the functions are okay.

I can't find a craftsman near me who can cut the blank key. I live in a small town with a key maker who doesn't have the equipment to make keys.

Aside from taking them somewhere to cut, it's very easy. With these, after cutting off the key, you only have to switch on the ignition with the original, then switch it on immediately and everything is programmed. Great prices for these keys compared to the retailer.

I ordered 2 of these after my Chevy dealer said it would cost me $165 to change the key and another $45 to program it and said it could take up to an hour to change it to program. I had a mobile locksmith that cut keys for $40 each and he told me how to program them just by sticking them in the ignition. FYI I have 1 broken, original key fob for my Equinox. The rotating part is cracked.1. I took the new key fob, removed the pin from the key and pulled it out. One was easy to do, the other was impossible and I've never done it.2. I went to the car with the old and new key fob and have already cut out key3.
