the hooks are too small for the wheels

I cannot get the tire to fit the hooks once they are attached to the wall. I have 2 cruisers, one mountain bike, and one BMX bike.none of the hooks work for me.

Pros
  • This held up my 24 inch bike pretty good
Cons
  • Plenty easy to install, but doesn't hold the bikes very well. Would not recommend.

They work. for my opinion

They aren't as easy to use and I had hoped. My kids can't get their bikes down themselves. They're study and work fine though.

Pros
  • Useful little device to save a big space
Cons
  • Really geared to get adult bike in and out of hook, kids bikes have tires that are too thick

Works great in my review

Works great. Buys you more room in the garage hanging your bike on the wall. Will definitely be purchasing more. I recommend using a 2x8 piece of lumber if you’re unable to hit any wall studS directly with the bike hooks.

Pros
  • Still holding my bikes months later.
Cons
  • May require additional support for larger bike frames

Excellent Bike Storage Solution

These hooks are a great addition to any sports and outdoors enthusiast's garage or shed. They are sturdy and well-designed, and can support a good amount of weight. The hooks are easy to install and can hold a variety of bicycles, making it a versatile solution for bike storage. The only downside is that they may require extra hardware if your walls are not the right type for the hooks.

Pros
  • Space-saving solution for storing bikes vertically on the wall.
Cons
  • Small maintainability

Get your own mounting screws.

It's hard to get the bike up on the wall. I found that turning the handle 90 degrees works best for getting the hook through the wheel, and then turning it back straight to hang it. The bikes don't hang straight, but seem to want to lean to the left. You can work it out by adjusting it, but it's not automatic. The hanger hook is decent, but the screws are the soft brassy kind of screw that twists in half under torque. Even with a pilot hole, the screws twisted off, including one that I was…

Pros
  • Worked well
Cons
  • Hooks may not rotate, making it difficult to hang bikes at the correct angle

Not easy to use at all!

These seem great, but they are not practice. It is very difficult to get adult size bikes up on the hanger! Getting them down is not so bad, but when you come home tired from a good ride you can't get the bike put away. Not a good design.

Pros
  • Hanging all four of our bikes up in the garage to save room. Love them.
Cons
  • May require professional installation

Expensive for a hook

A cheap hook will do the same thing. In fact, a cheap hook IS doing the same thing after I returned these. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Worked perfect to hang kids and adults bikes (but I did use my own screws, the ones they send are weak)
Cons
  • Cannot hold multiple bikes on one hook

Good for me. not my kids

I installed these in our garage to cleanup the clutter from out bikes. I like them. They are durable and easy to mount. They do require a little effort to put up and my 5yo ain't having it. :) I'd still recommend these to someone that wants to store their bikes out of the way.

Cons
  • May not be a compatible solution for those with limited wall space

Great Value. Some hooks floppy.

Sturdy (but used my own screws). But half of them had floppy hooks (the hooks don’t remain extended) which make it hard to hang up a bike. Problem mostly solved by jamming a bent paper clip into the joint. Still a great value for what I paid.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • May not be aesthetically pleasing

Good product but bad installation hardware

Do not use the installation hardware, especially if you’re putting these up in drywall without studs.I personally found some studs to anchor these to, but even then the screws that came with it were a bit too short. I had to get custom screws and drywall anchors. They worked perfectly as intended and are very sturdy after being installed with the proper hardware.

Pros
  • Like the brackets. Need better screw insert. Top screw does not hold.
Cons
  • Hooks may not be long enough to accommodate bikes with wide handlebars

OK FOR ROAD BIKES - my new review

It's only good for road bikes not MTB. YOU HAVE TO LET AIR OUT IF YOU WANT YOUR MTB TIRE TO FIT. HOOK WON'T STAY IN PLACE SO MAKES IT HARD TO HANG YOUR BIKE ON YOUR OWN. WIFE NOT HAPPY

Pros
  • Would recommend
Cons
  • The design is OK but lacking in material quality.

Overall a pretty sturdy and nice looking bike hanger, but the very practical and first 'stay-up feature' stopped working on 3 out of the 4 hangers, we got, in a matter of days or weeks, despite very light use. Now cumbersome as heck to get the bike to hang: maneuvering the bike up in the air with one hand; trying to fold out the hanger with the other; and place the wheel and spokes with the third. now Hubby has to do it every time, so by now he has learned to swear more than I do. now only used

Pros
  • Bueno
Cons
  • Hooks may bend or break over time

Very hard to install and use

Trying to muscle up a bike to easily engage the hook is a joke. Trying to figure out the height of the hook is even funnier. Then there's the hook that doesn't stay extended so you can get the wheel on there. I will return this.

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • May not be able to hold bikes with kickstands
