Enhance Your Vehicle's Performance with the Volant 15857150 Cool Air Intake Kit Review

The instillation was fairly easy and fitted. I'm not giving 5 stars because the lid doesn't fit properly. A hole doesn't fit a screw no matter how I mount the cover. The lid does not sit flat so needs sealant to close properly and was slightly scratched.

Looks great, my car came, tuned, headers, cat removed and hollowed out mufflers. Now there are around 500 hp on the cover. Only 2 complaints, nothing major, I couldn't fit the 2 mounting screws of the case properly, and also the plastic that is part of the grille in the engine bay covers the top of the airbox at one point. I'll trim it down a bit tomorrow unless it's worth every penny.

I bought the valance air intake system 15857150 for my 2005 Cadillac CTS V after purchasing a K&N system, both from Revain. Revain's service was up to par and as usual on time. I have to say that Volant System is way better than K&N for the following reasons. Closed system, forced cold air, lower heat, cleaner engine compartment and more power. I immediately noticed a 2hp difference, but after adjusting the dyno I noticed an additional 12hp improvement. 14 hp total I recommend the Volant system

I installed this cold air box this weekend and everything went pretty smoothly. The design is great and relatively easy to fit in my car. The only problem I had was that there were no installation instructions. There was a blueprint showing which parts went where, but there was no indication of the order in which to install them. I had to learn the hard way that it is MUCH easier to mount 90% of the airbox on the outside of the car rather than assembling it while you install it in the car. That

Installation was good, a little tight which is good but takes a little work to get everything in place. The supplied instructions are ok, but could be clearer. However, anyone with basic mechanical skills should have no trouble installing it. The fit and finish are great. Once installed, everything looks clean and professional, and the quality of the materials is excellent.
