No instructions. It took 3 attempts to get the full set of parts. The product was not at all as advertised. After installation it worked perfectly.

Comes without filter and will not fit 4WD models. It also requires an extra piece called a "vane" to keep the open air duct from sucking in all of the hot air generated by the engine.

It was a little difficult to install. As a result, we called Volant and worked directly through them. The item sent was not compatible, so installation was difficult. I would recommend reading the installation instructions on the Volant website. They are great to work with and they will walk you through the steps if you have any questions. I'm getting 3 mpg more than before installing and it's been about 2 years.

I have installed top brand air intakes on my last four cars but decided to try the valance system on my 2009 Cadillac CTS. The good news is that once installed, the system is very good. Components are well made, the kit is cheaper than competing systems, and the airbox matches OEM underhood covers for a more finished look than the competition.
