No grip. The inside of the shoe deteriorated very quickly. Looks cool but not quality shoes. Wouldn't buy this brand again.

only worn for a few days but as far as i can tell they are ok. The quality is good and the comfort is great. the fit is typical and the thickness of the material is roughly the same as that of vans. The sole should be rubber, because in this dry house I didn't tremble. all is well! I will try to edit this review if anything changes.

I couldn't believe I found a pair of Volcom sneakers for under $60. The shoes are well made, I like that the rubber comes on top (where skaters usually wear the shoes first). I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 based on my son's feedback that the soles are stiff and don't give skaters the right amount of support (we added our own cushioning insole).
