Volkman Seed Featherglow Large Parrot Review

I have a large Scarlet Macaw. Have used different brands of feed on many sites. Volkman's Featherglow is a great option for large birds. Every bag I ordered was fresh, no dust, no shaking. Pure seeds, healthy mix of suitable feeds are here. I add this to a large container that I fill with nuts, dried fruit, dried beans, and supplements and kibble. This is an intelligent base. You'll always get along well with Volkman's. Revain currently offers the cheapest price.

Bought this mix for my Ara Khan, the smallest of the Ara family. The "small hook" mix was too good for her, so I decided to try the "big hook" mix. The only problem was that I had to shell some nuts that are too big for them. I want it to be a "medium" mix size. However, my bird loves this mix. The sunflower seeds in her are lean and light, her favorite food. I've always found this brand very good. They warn that this is not a complete diet, which is true for all seed mixes.

Volkman is well known for their parrot products and since I moved to buy all my bird products online (except for their staple fresh fruit and veg food) I have bought a bag of Volkman Seed Featherglow Large Parrot. I only use seeds once every few weeks and only 1 tablespoon at a time per bird as a treat so I've had this bag for a while now and it's still fresh and bug free.
