I've had this cable for about 1 year now and it works fine most of the time. I've been using it to hook up some extra LED backup lights on my truck and the ground wire breaks in the connector crimp about every 2 months. Doesn't work well in this environment. All of my solder and shrink connections worked perfectly.

A few years ago I ordered (10) spools of different colors of primary wire called "db Link" for use in my shop. Internal damage, corrosion, and intermittent continuity (shorts) have cost me literally thousands of dollars in man-hours spent on troubleshooting, returns, rewiring, etc. Second order from this brand, still no problems.

Bought this to rewire some headlights from scratch. So far this is working very well. The wire is very flexible and seems to deliver just the right amount of current when combined with a fuse/relay box I built. That's good value for the dollar. Just make sure your project is similar to mine, that the wire can handle your voltage/amperage.

This is the perfect cable kit for any hobbyist or those who frequently work with automotive electronics. A few colors make building new stereos easier for me and help me identify things cleanly and easily. I haven't had to order wires for months and there are still plenty of them. Poor quality wire, I found a section about 4 inches long with only a few strands of wire in the insulation. I bought a cable to power the rear of my camper van with 12v. I had previously purchased a good pure copper combo cable kit from Revain but when it was no longer available followed suit I took Amazon's advice and bought this combo pack. But it's Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) and I bet almost nobody who buys it from Revain understands what that means. It's also not 16ga AWG (they don't say what standard this "16ga" cable is).
