Great upgrade! Highly recommend

Updated my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with three of these. Two in the front and one in the trunk. The on/off switch is handy for outlets that are always hot. There's one without an on/off button for a socket that lights up when you turn on the ignition. SUPER fast charge!

Quality product with reliable switch

A pair installed in the camper so I can charge iPads and flashlights. Works better than soft on/off. The voltage reading is quite accurate. When switched off, it consumes 3 mA. Can be built into 10mm thick material. I managed to bend the pins on the back at about a 45 degree angle to get some play.

High-quality processing with USB connections and voltmeter display with on/off function

Nice processing overall. Two USB ports make it an efficient yet small device for adding charging options to your RV, car, etc. The ability to turn off the voltmeter display saves your battery. A cover with a transparent window protects against dust when monitoring the voltage. So far no problems.

It's slightly larger than an existing 12V socket or cigarette lighter

Installing this device is totally worth the effort. I wanted a basic battery gauge in the van and added USB charging instead of adapters. 12v outlets are plentiful in the van, I had to enlarge the original hole by about 1/8 inch. The device makes a solid impression. The threaded ring is easy to attach and easy to tighten. the connectors you needed but I saved them for another project. I would definitely agree/recommend buying this one again.

Perfect Upgrade - Electric

I needed a charger to keep my phone charged while driving. It used adapters that plug into an outlet or cigarette lighter and are just too bulky and ugly. Nice clean installation of this charger in a spot where it's not as obvious and where the charging cables aren't dangling from the dash. Fairly easy to install and wiring was straightforward with the addition of a fuse set. Looks nice. An added plus is reading the voltage from my battery. Fits well, looks good, works great

For me this fits in the cigarette lighter socket on my 2005 Ford Excursion without changing the truck's dashboard. I had to remove the rubber cap from the charger - it's just a ring around the charger itself that slips off - for it to fit. But that's okay: I'd still leave the cable plugged in, so the cap would be useless and in the way. It's great for fast charging my Samsung S9+. Use the button to turn the charger on and off.
