VOOLTA Gravity Smart Coffee Warmer Review

I love this heating pad! Thanks to the gravity controlled on/off feature, I know it's off when I lift my cup and turns on when it's on the heating pad. There is also a switch to prevent a cat's paw, a child's hand or an accidental remote control from accidentally contacting the pressure plate. My coffee stays warm long after I've stopped drinking it in the morning. Thank you!

Finally, after many products and reviews, I decided to buy this warmer. I'm glad I did. This heated my coffee to "hot". I forgot to put it on the heating pad right after making coffee. So, after a few minutes of fiddling, as always. I found my coffee was really hot. I used the small disc that came with it because I was using my Pioneer Woman coffee mug, which has a concave bottom instead of a flat one. I recommend this product.

When I was looking for a mug warmer, I chose this one because it was larger than most and had an extra aluminum base for the concave bottom of the mug (which two of my favorite mugs have). It's even better than I imagined. The aluminum pad is perfect for my cups. Another feature I really like is that it turns on automatically when you put a cup on it and turns off when there is no cup. You don't have to remember to turn it off. Conclusion: This is a great mug warmer and I highly recommend it!

Update. While the customer service was fantastic (which is why I didn't give 1 star), the backup heater is useless. Barely heats up and does nothing to keep my coffee at a decent temperature. I think I warmed up my coffee in the microwave. Trust the reviews that say this heater just doesn't get hot enough. Loved this product, especially the extra disc for concave bottom coffee cups. I was looking for a cup warmer and decided on this one. The main reason I bought it was the extra aluminum spacer for the concave bottom of the mug as almost all of our mugs have a concave bottom. The aluminum spacer is perfect for my cups. If you have a concave cup and don't use a pod, your coffee won't stay as warm, so be sure to use one.
