Description of 🔍 Enhanced Vortex Optics Crossfire HD Binoculars

10x magnification & 50mm objective lenses, these Crossfire HD binos are optimized with select glass elements to deliver exceptional resolution, cut chromatic aberration and provide outstanding color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness and light transmission. Fully multi-coated lenses increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces. Roof prism design is valued for greater durability and a more compact size. Adjustable eyecups twist up and down for comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses. Center focus wheel adjusts the focus of both binocular barrels at the same time. Diopter (located on right eyepiece) adjusts for differences in a user's eyes. Rubber armor provides a secure, non-slip grip, and durable external protection. Binoculars are tripod adaptable allowing use on a tripod or car window mount. Nitrogen purging and o-ring seals provide water and fogproof performance in all environments. Rugged construction withstands recoil and impact.

Love these good photos and photo items

I'm new to the hunt and need a pair of entry level optics and I've heard great reviews of the Vortex. I tried them and can't believe how great they are for the price. If you're using tail optics that cost thousands today they might not compare, but if you're using optics that cost less than $200 I can't recommend them enough.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Not sure

Value for money binoculars and scopes

These bad boys may not be the most expensive optics on the market, but they are great. I bought them for my first moose hunt. There were no problems with the moose hunt. I spotted two cows and a bull over a mile away and was able to move within archery range. Since then I have taken them on every hunt including South Dakota Pheasant, Oklahoma Whitetail, Kansas Waterfowl and Wisconsin cold morning hunts.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons

Exceeded my expectations!

After much research (my wife Karen says I have OCD shopping) I ordered the Crossfire binoculars for my upcoming trip to Costa Rica. Tried them out on a hike this weekend. and was completely amazed at the clarity. I have a Crossfire 10x50 and my wife has a Crossfire 8x42. Both pairs are very durable and of excellent quality. The low light capabilities were amazing as one evening I was able to spot a deer grazing in a distant field that I couldn't see with the naked eye. Vortex is my optics…

Excellent binoculars. attention to business.

The binoculars are really good and worth the money. However, the case was disappointing. Firstly the case looks great and is of good quality but this case is only meant to be worn on a tethered chest. Cannot be carried on a belt, handle or shoulder strap. I bought 12x50 binoculars and the binoculars protrude about an inch past the top of the body. The top flap still closes but is misaligned and the elastic closure is almost at its maximum. You can see that the case is too small just by looking…

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Decent but finicky with binoculars and scopes

Pros - lighter than some big 12x, decent resolution (very good for the price), good construction, retractable eyecups are better, nice body as the most common in use Cons - physically longer than other large 12-degree lenses, very sensitive and overly precise focus, shallow depth of field to the point where branches swaying in the wind 300 meters away oscillate in focus and blurring, not as bright as 56mm glasses (perhaps an unfair criticism, but these are competitors). So if I only used them…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Negative result present

Amazing value for a truly versatile binocular

I've just bought a Vortex Crossfire HD 12x50 binocular and have been testing it for a week and I have a few important thoughts to share. First I was looking for a real all round pair of binoculars that would be small/light enough for day and twilight bird watching and better than regular astronomy binoculars that can be hand held or on a tripod. I have many binoculars that excel at either of these tasks, but none of them do both exceptionally well - until now. Focusing, stunning light-in-light…
