Actually not bad for external accessories

So I've used a lot of different carbon foils over the years, although it wasn't a problem. I have to say they have come a long way. This is definitely the project that I recommend to my clients as a great project for beginners. I tell my clients to always leave some extra and then use a heat gun and flatten it out. It shrinks and stretches well. That's a little condescending. It was badly dented right out of the box. Unfortunately, even after using the heat gun, that entire area was a waste. It

Required reading for newbies. This vinyl is amazing.

I have used this carbon vinyl along with many others for comparison, Scott Elemento 6 and Tech Art Gloss, 3m Dinoc, Oracal etc. Don't listen to people who say this vinyl is not good . It's all user error. That's the art of application, it's very thick but it fits curved surfaces and hard-to-pack details. Adhesion is not a problem. Use clean microfiber and isopropyl alcohol to minimize dust. Clean any edges and any places you think you can't even touch. When you wrap the interior trim, take it…

Not impressed. in vinyl wrap and accessories

first let me say that I originally looked for a different size and switched to a 2.5 x 5 ft roll and didn't realize it was an interior film acts. When I checked the first size it said it was for indoor or outdoor automotive applications. The 2.5 x 5 was internal only and I bought it with the intention of wrapping my '07 hood with a poor finish, first the clear layer on top which is shiny, peeled off after another piece of vinyl touched it and it was not transparently protective coated. The…

Not recommended for highly detailed/technical applications.

I do not recommend this product. It looks good at first glance, but I have two main problems: First, the material is too thick for high-tech applications (cutting with a lot of sharp corners and/or details). It does not fully settle into corners or around sharp curves, even after careful thermal massage and stretching. It is also too thick to be used on panels with tight switches and/or knobs as this will cause the switches to stick due to the reduced spacing. Stains that suddenly appeared…
