High-Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap Adhesive Film with Air Release Technology - 1ft x 5ft Decal Sheet Review

I ordered a new dishwasher but the one I wanted was only stainless steel so got these to wrap around the front door so the dishwasher was black and matched my fridge and stove. Was very easy to assemble and looks great

The description says 1 x 5ft but we received it and it was only 1 x 3.8ft There is nothing wrong with the material we are just disappointed that we did not get the amount for which it was published.

I am very disappointed in this product. The last three feet were unusable due to the horrible creases caused by the glue. My roof was 75% complete before I realized the product was defective. I hoped the heat would smooth out the wrinkles, but that didn't happen.

I will never buy this brand again. I have paint stains in 3 places and can't get them off the ones that weren't even wrapped. I just left it there for a minute or two while I trimmed it. Also, he was fat and difficult to work with. The panel was difficult to remove and without pressure on it to try and install it straight.

The vent pad on this vinyl makes it almost impossible for bubbles to form and it's nice that it can be rearranged during installation. It took me 3 hours from start to finish to wrap the chrome grille and trim over the headlights. I trimmed it by hand with a razor blade. A heat gun is a must. This is my first big wrap project but it turned out great!

Compared to 3M 1080 I'm not a fan of this stuff. Adhesion isn't as good and shrinkage from heat in the sun is an issue. If it is overstretched when applied, exposure to the sun may shrink it and reveal the original color of the surface. In addition, it is a thicker material and is more difficult to handle and wrinkle on narrow edges. One of my large rolls came with a protective film on the squeegee surface that can be removed after application to prevent abrasion. which may be noticeable.

Anyone watching the CK Wraps video on youtube I swear to god this guy is a real gut artist. Light vinyl is VERY difficult for beginners, even pros! And it ALWAYS comes half the length I order, it has rips and scratches! I also bought an Avery vinyl for my car to cover it completely but from now on I will avery the whole car. Vivid is 100% Chinese film only with Canadian labels! I will never buy from them again. The rest of the installation hardware was perfect! The movie is very bad!
