Compared to 3M 1080 I'm not a fan of this stuff. Adhesion isn't as good and shrinkage from heat in the sun is an issue. If it is overstretched when applied, exposure to the sun may shrink it and reveal the original color of the surface. In addition, it is a thicker material and is more difficult to handle and wrinkle on narrow edges. One of my large rolls came with a protective film on the squeegee surface that can be removed after application to prevent abrasion. which may be noticeable.
