Looks great for vinyl wrap and accessories

I only installed the vinyl cover today so cannot comment on the durability of this product. This was pretty easy to install, I wouldn't press hard on the texture part of the fly because it would be visible. I recommend using a microfiber cloth to smooth out the textured portion of the bow tie and using a smooth, thin piece of plastic like a credit card to smooth out the unstructured edges. Follow the directions and heat the vinyl to complete the product. Most importantly, don't rush! I will…

Lightweight and great case!

So I will try to report about durability in the future. Today I finally got around to installing movies on my 2013 Silverado Z71. I watched a few YouTube videos before I started. The 3m kit isn't really needed, but it's nice to have 2 extra strips for when you screw something up (hard to make) or spares for other projects. All you need is an X-Acto knife, a low-level heat gun, and your fingers. I dressed both in about 40 minutes. Most of it was used turning the truck over to find cover in the…

It's okay though. for vinyl films

Okay, I'm not criticizing the product, but that's ok compared to how great it is. Personally, I find Plasti-Dip much easier to use than that "sticker". This cloth is pretty easy to stick on, but I had a hard time cutting it around the bow tie without looking like a cheap sticker. I also don't think it will stand up to rain, snow and direct sunlight for long periods of time. Overall, this is a cheap way to black out a bow tie, but personally I'd recommend just using Plasti Dip to make it better…

Pros
  • Very good value for money

I'm fine so far

I'm fine so far. A simple app and it looks great!. Just followed the instructions and it was pretty easy. I started at one end of the emblem and used a plastic putty knife for the edges and a credit card for the rest. may need more patience and time) I cut around the edges and remove them immediately. So far there has been no sign of a split. However, when driving, I make sure not to place the high-pressure cleaner or water hose on the emblem for too long and sometimes not at all. I think it…

Looks great on vinyl wraps and accessories

This was really easy to install on my 2017 Silverado 3500. At first I was concerned because the emblem was uneven rather than smooth. This led me to believe that the case would not have a good surface to stick to. It seems to have worked really well though, it's only been about a month since I've put it on so it hasn't changed all that much but I haven't noticed any cracks or blemishes yet. I think even if it only lasts a year before it's either dropped or damaged, it's still a lot cheaper to…

Easy installation Best vinyl wrap and accessories

I bought this in place of the emblems that Chevrolet sells for $115(!) for my 2017 Volt. The vinyl was very easy to install if you had already put another vinyl on the car before going through the same process here. I used a credit card wrapped in a microfiber cloth to flatten/stretch the vinyl in the crevices of the logos and an X-Acto knife to cut it out. I didn't use a heat gun or blow dryer and the emblems came out great, but it wouldn't hurt to use them if you have them. I screwed up 3 or…

I would recommend putting a piece of cardboard in the .

I have been putting vinyl decals on trucks and trailers for my company for 5 years. I made 8 trailers and 10+ trucks, this definitely looks like what I wanted for my truck. I give 4 (more on the 3.5 side) stars because the product had a big crease that I couldn't iron. I put the vinyl on the bookshelf with some of my large school books and even put a blow dryer on it to flatten it out, it definitely helped, but when it came time to apply it got more difficult. I would recommend putting a piece…
