Not Worth the Investment

Save your money and look elsewhere. This Industrial and Scientific bit failed to perform even basic tasks, leaving me with subpar results. It's disappointing that a product marketed for cutting tools couldn't perform on par with its competition.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor cutting ability

Not made in America, boxed in USA

Not from WL Fuller as Revain says These are BigHorn cutters. Never heard of them but I took the bait and switched. I did the WLFuller brand, made in Rhode Island, and high-quality American, not the US-packaged BigHorn.

Pros
  • 1/2" plug
Cons
  • Very expensive

strong and resharpenable

These guys make a strong little cork cutter. Much better than the ejection-port tubular type, which is the most common. It's easy to sharpen the blade with a file when you're scrolling through a lot of workpieces. I want the neck to be deeper, if it's more than 3/4 I need to plan the stem, not that I need 1" plugs but that's the situation.

Pros
  • High Quality
Cons
  • old
