This was the second one I bought. The first one from another provider doesn't really fit. It works well. It's amazing to me that KitchenAid can't sell them alone. Surprised and happy that it works and saved me from buying a new dishwasher. Note that 2 different appliance mechanics had no idea about this.

When the top basket was removed for cleaning, the plastic clips on the original top basket adjuster broke off. Age/warmth/time only. It was the perfect, perfect replacement. No instructions are provided, but you'll figure out how to attach it by removing one side and reattaching it, using the other side as a guide. Then repeat and done. This saved me a ton of money and is appreciated!

Purchased to replace defective originals. About 4 years old. Produces an original part that costs twice as much as this for just one piece, so why not try it. They claim upgraded materials but look just like the original. There is a small plastic burr on the mold lines, but a bit of sandpaper in these areas will fix problems if they arise. I had a plastic part that holds my dish rack to the metal rail of a dishwasher. I tried gluing it together to no avail so I went in search of a replacement. Just received today and fairly easy to install. The kit does not include two release handles so I had to reuse the originals. An oversight on my part as I would buy a set that includes everything. A center clamp did not fit flush because the plastic tab left over from the plastic mold had not been cut away, preventing the center clamp from snapping into place.
