Description of 🏭 Wagner Roller Caster Bearing Load Capacity

Plate caster has a flat base with holes for bolting or welding to an object. Rigid caster allows back-and-forth motion. 1000 to 1200 lb. load capacity for utility trucks, trash containers, and production dollies. Cast iron wheel rolls with ease under heavy loads and resists wear and shock. Roller bearing for high load capacity and greater durability than ball bearings.

Unreliable Caster Wheels for Heavy Items

The Wagner caster roller bearings have failed me when I needed them the most. Through trial and error, I found that for any objects weighing over 100 pounds, these casters are not suitable. They are not up to par for industrial and scientific projects.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Unreliable for heavy items

Sturdy, easy to install, good reel

Sturdy, easy to install, good reel. I've used 4 of these to support a 2000 lb cast iron linking machine and they allow me to move them around the workshop as needed.

Pros
  • Plate reel has a flat base with holes for bolting or welding to an object
Cons
  • Not sure

Good steering wheel but wrong picture.

This wheel is very strong and durable. I ordered it based on the picture, thinking it was a phenolic wheel and didn't read the description carefully. But I'm glad I didn't because it's the more durable wheel I needed. I use a pair of these with a pair of 5" same height ER Wagner 1F88 5" phenolic caster/lock phenolic wheels. 5" wide plate, 1000lb capacity range on my aftermarket air tank which is about 2000lb. I use these hard steel wheels on the heavier end and swivel wheels on the lighter end.

Pros
  • Roller bearing for heavy duty and longer life than ball bearings
Cons
  • No power
