Wagner ThermoQuiet PD1288 Ceramic Disc Brake Pads Set – Ultimate Performance and Durability! Review

Installed a few days ago. So far it's been very quiet. I have changed many brakes on various vehicles and follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully to get the best results.

The Infiniti M35 had noisy rear brakes. I cleaned the dust and after a few days they started squeaking, although the pads were like new. I replaced these Wagner Thermoquiet seals and there has been no noise for months.

With $21 shipping, the price isn't bad and my kit included two sets of anti-vibration clamps, one wide and one narrow. It's good. There were supposed to be two pads with wear sensors in the kit but one had a pin to attach the wear sensor but there was no wear sensor. A bit disappointing because I always thought Wagner was the best stuff. The pads match the 2007 Altima very well and are quiet.

They squeak a lot on my 2010 Nissan Altima. I've installed brake pads 100 times and never had this problem. I am assuming it is an issue with my car model and the size of the calipers on my brakes. I think it's just a bad combination that gives a perfect resonance when the whole system comes together. It only squeaks at low speeds when I step on the brakes lightly. So far they fit well. My husband installed them and drove from Georgia to Florida. I'm going to North Carolina next week. My only issue with this is that the sound sensor only showed up on one panel. It needs at least two pads! For this high quality model from this company I was expecting it to have a sensor on all four as the pads can wear unevenly for many reasons.
