I bought this item because of COVID-19 and my son's hair was getting out of control. I'm not good with measurements so I used photos to guess the size of the scissors. Well these things are really small, about an inch long. In addition, hairpins almost did not allow to cut hair. There was no tension on the largest clip #4. We had to go down a size and move on to #3. Overall it did the job but it took forever BUT luckily we had scissors. I will not be returning it as I will likely need it again…

My first impression was that this model is smaller than I expected. I had some concerns that it wouldn't make a full cut and would only be good for trimming edges. This impression was deceptive. That does an amazing job. I've only used it once so far, but due to "social distancing" my hair was getting quite long, and this Val got over it quickly. I only have two similar items in my experience to compare, but it easily beats both of them by a significant margin.

Bought to replace a broken Remington trimmer. The Remington model was $15 cheaper and offered a much better and more comfortable shave. Due to the size, it takes a long time to cut the neck and the blade stretches when clamped. I have a mustache and a bandana (which I trim about twice a week). This might be a good option for precise areas, but it doesn't seem designed for larger areas like the neck and cheeks, or for keeping the shadow for 5 hours. Don't waste your time or money on this. I bought these to replace a whale I had for about 11 years. Same brand, same size, same color etc. This new set isn't worth the shit. They pulled out their hair and didn't cut it as short as the old ones. I couldn't even get half of my face done before I gave up and grabbed the razor blade. I'm really disappointed in them and will never switch to a whaling product.

Very difficult to use. No bigger than a palm and my hands are small. The blade itself is about 1 inch wide. After 2 uses, the blades barely cut. What should be a 10 minute job takes over 30 minutes to achieve a clean finish. Also, the finishing comb was bent in the bag for 8 weeks, so it's useless now too.

I love this trimmer. It works better than any battery I've used. Although the cable is a little uncomfortable, the increased speed and performance more than make up for it. The attachments allow me to choose the right length and get a clean, even cut. I use it for my beard and mustache. Although you can cut your hair, this is a small hair clipper, but it will take time.

I had one I bought from Walmart and it worked great. This thing draws electricity up to 240V or 220V. I love that I can travel with it. I left mine abroad so I decided to buy another one but this one wasn't good at all and the price is a bit higher than Walmart. Everything would be fine if it worked, but actually it wasn't quite right. I had to oil it almost every time I used it to keep it from pulling my hair, but keep doing it anyway.

I have had the same model for 6 years and it has worked great. I decided that since he was 6 years old I should probably change the blade. Bad idea. When I unscrewed it the internal parts fell off after I pulled out the blade and after playing with it for a while we put it back together but it was never the same again.
