worked great for a while but broke completely when I did the 4 foot dash or a 15 foot jump with a gap. I'm glad I got out, but the build quality of the steering wheel is disappointing.

The thing went for a very long time, but I knew it before buying it. It's a lot lighter than the one on my bike, despite being smaller. I went from 680mm bars to these 780mm bars. They give me more confidence and control. I did a 20 mile mountain bike ride and they performed brilliantly on technical terrain and steep descents.

These are good aluminum bars for the money. I installed them with a Fomtor 60mm aluminum stem and Fifty-Fifty dual lockouts and everything fitted perfectly. The standard steel bars on my big Schwinn 29er box were thin and narrow (about 625mm). The 780mm handlebars make it feel like a completely different bike. I will update the review if there are any issues but first impressions are everything!

I bought these to upgrade my 96 GT Backwoods XC bike and make it more off-road friendly. The width completely changed the feel of the bike, making it more agile through corners and giving it more leverage to climb climbs. They are very comparable to more expensive branded bars. If you have an old repair that you don't want to spend big bucks on but want good quality, these wheels are for you!

Bike (Specialized Hardrock 29") fell off my car on the freeway and destroyed the handlebars so I replaced it with these. My shoulders feel better after riding with these bars...and the bike feels much more stable with a longer bar/wider bar Please note that if you change the diameter of the stock bar you will need a new stem I have a new one and some new bars to go with this new bar and my bike feels even better than new (and fits my gorilla wide shoulders)!

While reviewing these bars I bought a second pair for my new bike! I'm using 780mm instead of 740mm this time to see how I like them as I ride a bigger bike now. Completely changed the look of my giant trance! And they feel great! I don't have to drive to find out because as I said this is my second pair and a great buy for the price! Super durable and light! I feel like they have more wingspan than my other pair, but it might just be the extra length that makes them appear that way. All in all

I bought these to convert my vintage mountain bike that I use for trail biking to wider modern handlebars. They work for it, but they won't get me on a legal mountain bike trail with it.
